After studying for a BA in English at the University of Sussex, I wrote for local newspapers, becoming an accredited senior reporter. I later retrained as a primary school teacher and am now an English subject lead.
I have always enjoyed creative writing and decided after turning 40 to explore this further. I have written the first novel of an intended fantasy duology for middle grade readers and am working on the second.
